Our Achievements

The Upazila Resource Center (URC) is a new infrastructural addition to primary education management. Under the Primary Education Development Program (1996-2004), URCs were established in 471 police stations / upazilas of the country with the funding of Ideal Project, Norwegian Aided Primary Education Quality Improvement Project, World Bank and ADB aided projects. Later in 2005, the government of Bangladesh included 481 Thana / Upazila Resource Centers in the revenue budget of the country. Thereafter, at the beginning of the Third Primary Education Development Program (2011-2018), the work of URC was started in 24 newly created Thanas / Upazilas.
